From endless white sand beaches to pristine turquoise water and stunning reefs, TCI’s landscape is simply breathtaking.
One third of the nation’s territory is government designated protected land. 33 national parks and nature reserves are home to 40 species of butterfly and 200 species of birds, including soaring osprey and hummingbirds unique to TCI and the Bahamas.
The surrounding waters are equally spectacular. Around the coastline is the world’s third largest continuous barrier reef, which has been voted one of the world’s top 10 dive sites and “healthiest marine environment”. 10% of TCI’s pristine marine areas are designated as marine parks and support 1,500 species of tropical fish, sea turtles, bottlenose dolphins and humpback whales.
